My natural lack of empathy is making me think "but people who go through such awful childhood don't all become self centered rapist assholes" I like jaekhyung as a character, but no amount of tragic backstory will make me forget what he did to doc, i mean holly hell
(But then again, to stop yourself from copying such models, you'd have to be really strong mentally and aware that you're repeating a cycle of hate)
(of course his backstory is still sad and it sucks for him, i suppose the author is trying to humanize him more as he's currently changing as a character, cause that would make him more likeable to the audience (and it's very much understandable that she wants to do that, he didn't need the tragic backstory in my eyes, but it of course makes him more likeable since anyone would empathize with that))
