I’m pretty sure it’s his torso. If you look at the next panel, the bottom is face first in the tops chest. I doubt you can see someone’s face from their chesticles…
100% tops face (nose looks like a tie, and he snuggles after looking at his face). Looked so hard for this after the fact.
