The redemption should come first, then the backstory. I don’t need to understand why he is the way he is yet. How am I supposed to feel as much sympathy for him as the author probably wants me to feel if I’m still pissed at him for being an abuser.
It would have so much more impact AFTER he does something redeeming.
But at the end of the day that’s what the author chose to do, I hope it works out better than what I’m expecting bc I love the art sooo much

    Maybe she does this to explain the Jinx. Since it's something sexual, the reason could be quite shocking.I have a feeling it will be someone he trusts, because he knows how to defend himself now.
