I don’t think the mc has feelings feelings for the ml or is pining. I think he’s just extremely anxious and traumatized and literally holding onto the only person that gives him somewhat positive emotions and is fully on his side.
I thought it could get better with time but it's actually worse for me. I don' t like mc, he is just pathetically pining over a person who is clearly not interested enough, and yes I can agree that ml is a jerk to him but to be honest he did state clearly no feelings just a contract, it is mc fault that he cought feelings for him. Also I just can' t stand people who can' t fight for themselves. The art is really god tho, shame the story isn't to my taste
