Oh, really? Do you even know what he went through? How it feels to be abandoned by our only family and then suddenly they come into ur life like nothing happened? His brother should have maintained his distance and fuck off like he did in the past.
You don't have enough EQ. Go and develope it first before judging others.

Don't mind the ragebait account, lol. Just know that I wholeheartedly agree with what you said. It might seem like projecting, but since we are directly placed in Jihyuk's point of view, we are meant to empathise with him anyway.
I really do not like how selfish his brother is because he never considers Jihyuk's feelings. Honestly, I think this part is quite well written. In real life, you have probably encountered people who only seek you out because they have a certain agenda. They use you, for example by getting close to you in order to copy your homework in school, and then they never talk to you again until they need something. People like that exist everywhere.
Funnily enough, his brother does the same thing. He only reaches out when he is happy and fulfilled, so he can place himself in the position of being the “good” older brother, and has Jihuyk caring for him (should've been the other way round smh). Either that, or he is just ignorant of his actions, and genuinely thinks that he had no choice but to abandon his brother. In a way justifying himself and assumes that Jihuyk understands and that all is forgiven because Jihuyk is friendly with him.

While I'm at it might as well add that, to my understanding, Jihuyk doesnt confront his brother with all the baggage is because he does care for his brother as he is his only family. Seeing him living a happy life and then bringing it down with burdens wouldn't sit right with Jihuyk.
That's the problem as well, this whole thing is about learning how to put himself first. As he has abandonment issues, he is TOO considerate of others, because he knows what it feels like to be on the receiving end and probably doesn't want to do that to anyone.
I felt so sad for Jihyuk and hated his brother will all my heart. Imagine, if his brother did not abandon Jihyuk before he wouldn't have this baggage and trauma all his life. Sure, his brother was young and new to this independence when their parents died but COME ON the brother just waltz in Jihyuk's life as if he wasn't the one inflicted that trauma to Jihyuk? Did he really think it was as easy as that to reconcile with Jihyuk's past as someone who's responsible with that trauma? And he just decided to come back into Jihyuk's life now that hus brother has someone and is happily in love? What a slap to Jihuyk's face an how infuriating is that wtf. Are you telling me he won't realize/apologize to Jihyuk himself unless he had someone? Sure, Jihyuk's brother is happy with someone and pushed him to reconcile with Jihyuk. Good, great, but why do I feel like that his reconciliation with Jihyuk is so shallow and effortless? Was there a lack of understanding of Jihyuk's weight of trauma he inflicted on? Or is this is me projecting something after all?
