From what I gather from the raws ( can't read sh!t just going off pictures) it looks like she is trying to divide and conquer them individually. In essence trying to separately intimidated them by using there pass trauma/ weakness. As my grandma told me once be wary of the friend that smiles in your face during the day yet silently digs your grave at night.
