It's not exactly common knowledge unless you grow up around raising hens/learned about it early on. Some people do gets old and not know stuffs. It's neat.

So my aunt is a vegan, and I never understood the meaning behind "fertilized" and "unfertilized" eggs. I always thought that a hen lays an egg theres always a baby coming out now matter what. So thx to K. I finally understand what she meant.
(Also i was on a video call with my bf when I read this. And he laughed at me and called me stupid for not knowing that :c)
