Rambling up to chapter 27, spoilers if you haven’t read this far

Already betting that Dante is the endgame. Reasons:

-is facing on the cover with FL (could be because he has the most interaction with FL in season one, but point currently stands)
-classic red eyes and black hair
-last to meet current FL
-sad backstory
-has the most intimate events with FL
-possessive (has no thoughts of letting her go)

FL is understandably terrified of him the most, but she already seems to be catching feelings. She blames the OG’s body, but she’s determined to be different than the OG (in terms of surviving), doesn’t want to rely on Dante but ends up needing him because she’s powerless without him, scared of being found out by him that she’s different but refuses to call his name like OG (which is how he figures out that she’s different but he’s crazy possessive so he doesn’t care). They’ll probably have a cheesy meaningful event if she does.

Pity points that she’s not used to being a villainess, and she does feel guilty about saving a noble while planning to be helped later, but she really needs to make up her mind.

It’s a bit of a troupe that the one FL is betting on survival is not the one she ends up with, and the one she has the least hope in is the one she ends with. See “Death Is The Only Ending For The Villainess / Villains Are Destined to Die” for reference

I feel like Lucian is bait, being the first to be introduced as a ML and even though she literally said to his face that she’s not interested in him romantically and wants to run away with him, as he starts to trust her he also catches feelings for her. Currently he’s losing his mind from FL withdrawal. Will he be the hero to save her from the villainous Dante?

Benedict seems nice, but lacking compared to the other MLs. He’s admitted that he’s scared of Dante, but seems interested in taking the risk to be with FL. He has yet to show any craziness or do anything to stand out
