Maybe its the same as those “hard to translate”? Japanese and Chinese always get this problems where some original words gets lost in translation because English can’t grasp the non-English words. So maybe the Korean words are more okayish on their side?
Yeah! It's difficult to pick up a wordplay when you're not familiar with the source language, but this kind of thing could be the motivation to learn foreign languages since it's so interesting
