Yes i thought the same hahaha it is a lil funny but like i get it.. my guess too is that there is at least one girl who is lesbian, someone else who is bi like Luke and definitely a gay guy but I’m thinking it’s just normal as it should be and nobody really cares or talks about it because it’s just who they are and doesn’t need to be talked about
Yeah theyre in college so it i dont expect them to talk about it as much cause most of them have probably gotten out of their system. When the queer is really loud and open is usually middle school or high school lol. Any stragglers like Luke who realize it as an adult tend to try to figure things out quietly.

I'm pretty sure this is set in America? So Andrew's concern about Luke not being ok with the gay is hilariously ironic bc Luke is in theater. And as someone from the SOUTH of America, if there was ever a place to find queers or allies, it's in theater class lol.
It doesn't matter what grade either, yer gonna have a gaggle of queers in theater class/club. And this looks to be after flip phones so you're definitely gonna find out in the open queers. And theyre in college so theyre in a bigger city cause no college in tim bucket two is gonna have a community college with dorms. I think Andrew comes from a really unfortunate situation of a conservative household in a not so conservative state, those type of households tend to shelter you from how open minded the rest of the world actually is. (I get he has trauma and no one needs to explain why it is uncertain I know i get it, as a queer in the south if anyone is gonna understand, I just find it kinda funny lol). If Luke is the only gay in that theater class it's unrealistic lol at least one other is questioning or doesn't use labels lol.
