Murder in fiction isn’t the same as glamorizing or excusing real-life crimes committed by fictional characters. No one’s defending murderers in books as ‘totally fine people.’ But saying ‘I don’t care that this character is a rapist lol’ is disturbing because it normalizes sexual violence lol
