Unfortunately no,,despite how much he’s scarred Maxi and her journey to gain self confidence and autonomy. Riftan hasn’t pieced it together nor wanted to learn more behind her behaviors and scared responses to when he intimidates her. I wish by now he’d have interest but he’s focused elsewhere.

Fr, on one hand, don’t give abusers even more attention or affect your life. But on the other I NEED Maxi’s father’s comeuppance. I’d even settle for a half page of a flashback of the father’s murder and another page where Maxi lets it all spill to riftan after hearing the news. I bet even if they did this as a the bare minimum riftan would be horrified for a whole chapter, plan revenge against her family,,probably take until season 7 with the pacing we got, treat maxi gentler at which she’ll refuse because “she’s getting better” and “you already treat me so kindly already”
Have they gotten to the part Riftan finds out about abuse Maxi's father is? If not, I'm gonna let this keep marinating. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
