Okay my take is they knew each other when they were younger, the mc used that scent and now he associates it with the feeling of the past? Idk it’s just my theory! Haha
I theorize that he had an accident and the one who saved him was MC who had that scent which is why he is so attached to him and has underlying trauma from the said accident? bc I think he has a scar does he not
Im still confuse why he reacts soo strongly to the scent that now we know isnt truly the mc . This has me in a pickle but like no spoilers just theories pls !
