Many comments said that this manga is ruined because of the adults, me on the other hands, think that showing those bad adults deepens Cain's and Diana's personality and character development. It MEANT to show how bad the adults are in that era because they don't know better. Not because they're actually bad, and Cain is there to "fix" what the parents can't and won't, which shows how he cared for what the adults ignores and tried to "raise" those kids (not just his sister) into a better person.

At first he was viewed mostly as a siscon who won't care about anything else, but it was proven to be false. Of course he might still prioritize his sister's future, but He is also shown as an actually caring and considerate person to everyone that deserved it. He is fair and gentlemanly in general as long as they're not harming his sister.

Also the whole point of why he's going to school so far from home is because his parents felt the need to separate the siblings as Cain's obsession is seen to be quite severe. This is like one of the rare moments the parents made a strict and correct decision for the siblings. Them spliting for a few years also allowed Diana to matures and learn how to become stronger and survive without his brother.

Then they are back together and met new trouble to show their growth in handling things while continuing the "original" plot.

Yeah I adore how this manga doesn’t let the children actually change the adults morals and choices.
They are a different time and it isn’t like they are bad. In their head they are making the hard and yet correct choices.

    I love that.

True! The morals and what was considered "normal" at that time is definitely different from what Cain and we knows, so it actually added the deepness on world building of this manga.
I also love how the author emphasized that not knowing is different from being a bad person, and as you said, Cain chose to change what he can change and didn't even try to waste his time on changing the adults that won't change at a mere words from a kid. This make this manga a lot more realistic in terms of characteristics and world building compared to other isekai manga.

The touch of reality is actually pretty nice after so many Webtoons where the adults are honestly insanely ready to listen to anything a child says lol. I know Genius an exist but wow.
It’s also more interesting because with how the younger generations are changing I can see some huge political and family fights happening later on

Ikr! Adults that think "you're still a child you don't know anything" is more realistic but not popular. Cain is also considered a genius but his parents still won't believe every words of a mere child. People seems to prefer a wholesome family where the parents are very loving and trusting. This manga is fresh and interesting because it didn't follow the popular path but stay with their own plot to convey what they wanted to convey.
