when you grow so fond of the couple that you dgaf if they have a "they met as kids" plot i usually sigh. but this? it kinda moves the plot around better and makes it attach a memory or person to the scent he wanted to find so bad. also adding that their future encounters were merely coincidences that got them where they are today. its cute!
