Keep your child rear facing for as long as possible. Gru could and should be rear facing. Broken legs can heal. Broken skull...not as much

    It depends on the kid's height. If she's tall enough her seat should be designed to face forward. She is a preschooler after all. But definitely a baby or 2 year old are short enough for the backwards style seat. And definitely don't face a seat the wrong way forward for how that particular seat is designed for.

    You can be 5 and be rear facing if the size of the seat allows. It's easier to fix a snap in a broken leg that a snapped neck
