I'm on chapter 111. I’m honestly disappointed. I’ve been continuing to read for several chapters, hoping something would improve. But I haven’t seen any real development in the main characters. I feel like the characters lack personalities. Even the villains are pathetic. Their motivations make no sense. Lia’s brother turning a blind eye to everything and she still says nothing to him... And Kieran staying silent about everything, even though his own mother is responsible for his illness. Every single character in the story really got on my nerves.
Claude keeps making decisions on Lia’s behalf. And it’s not just him, others do the same too. Lia, on the other hand, is very naive and tends to believe whoever sounds reasonable at the moment. She allows her relationships with those around her to be influenced far too easily. This might be due to her past, and I wasn’t expecting her to suddenly change overnight. But unfortunately, I’m not seeing any progress, and I feel like continuing to read is a waste of time.
