Tia and Perez have a plan to get Astana to attack the emperor and it works.
Astana gets his hand chopped off and is captivated- not even his mum can help him.
Perez is in charge of the investigation and the empress wants to pin everything on Belezac, kill him and make it look like suicide because of his sins.

I am not 100% sure if the order is correct, though.

Tia wants to help the Brown family to get their title and land back, but the empress tries everything to stop that. She is in debt because she borrowed a lot of money from the Pellet cooperation and Sheasaw and gave a lot of land as collateral. Since she can't pay, the land belongs now to them. In order to get the land titles back, she frames Clerivan for something and tears down the building with her army in order to find the documents, but they are at Lombardi with Tia.
She also tries to arrest Clerivan, but he escapes. Violet gets arrested, but Perez promises to make sure, she returns unharmed.
The empress is set on killing Clerivan, because she thinks he is the owner of Pellet, but when revealing the documents, Tia reveals who is the real owner. She gifts the land to the Browns ans Sheashaw does the same. The Agenas still have land, but it is smaller than the Brown's, so they are the new representatives.

Tia saves Bellesac, then suddenly the Emperor almost dies from poisoning by the queen. Perez gave him the antidote beforehand, because he expected something like that since if the emperor dies, the empress can choose the successor. X.x
The queen is thrown into prison after some time and nobody can save her or her son.

(Un)fortunately the emperor is still dying, only slower. Tia's Grandfather convinces him to make the second prince his proxy and finally after some time and Jovannes finally accepting that he is going to die, he makes him the crown Prince.
BUT, since Tia is going to be the Matriarch (there is no competition left, her father and her aunt don't want the position and Viese is already kicked out) and per imperial law she can't be the Matriarch AND the empress, so Perez is like: 'Thanks, but no thanks.'
The emperor thinks he is crazy, but he negotiates with him to change the law so that Tia can be both.

In the meantime, Tia meets her mum's tribe. Her grandma and a few others come to the banquet to celebrate Tia becoming the new head of house Lombardi (grandpa steps down, because he wants to enjoy the rest of his life). She finds out that they are the 'people of the south', she read about. They have powers- her mother could look into the future. She knew that she would die after giving birth to Tia and she could have chosen not to go and meet Gallahan, which Tia's grandmother wanted, but she wanted to go.
Tia obviously had also an ability to go back in time, but since she is only half from the tribe, her power is gone and this is her last life.
She decides, she wants to spend it with Perez AND stay the Matriarch, even if she has to fight for it, but Perez already made that happen.
He proposes to her (they had cancelled their engagement before) and she accepts. He also rebuilt the old castle where he lived as a child to preserve the memories he has with Tia there.

Perez basically kills the king and crowns himself. Then Lorraine marries (later than usually planned because she got pregnant before the wedding and they decided to wait a little longer) and Tia and Perez travel there incognito because Sheashaw are kind of ... well the new enemies. They make Tia's dad's life hard, but Tia also manages to settle that.
Oh and she gets pregnant at the end, gives birth to a healthybaby girl and finds a letter from her mum congratulating her on the birth of her daughter.
They are on hiatus after a side story about her mother, so maybe it will be continued. :(
I hope I haven't forgotten anything important.
