Richard is a really interesting complex character. He was clearly emotionally neglected as a child with the awareness that he would have enormous responsibility forced on him as an adult. His existence is almost treated as a transaction. The queen died in exchange for his birth and nothing he could ever do made up for that loss. He is duplicitous and manipulative, but also devoted and emotionally vulnerable. He’s very well written
hopefully they reverse it soon i love the dynamic they have now but i also want to see more of richards hidden feelings come out
