The ones with an original novel kinda hit different don't they? Like the flow of the story and the characters are soooo good and kinda really different I've read many masterpieces that don't have a novel but I'm just saying the ones with novels kind of have a very unique flow and it's fascinating
Drawing and storytelling are two different things. And to be very good at both it's not easy. So that's why most of the time adaptations hit different, cause is a team work between a writer and an artist.
