It’s honestly strange how the author is pushing BDSM when the main character has a bad past with the practice. Shouldn’t we at least have gotten more bonding between the two before seeing them dive deeper into bdsm? It also would’ve been better for them to dive deeper into his past so he could recover from the incident properly.
