I think this is an alternate realityuniverse where Qin and him didn't recover their memories and how the missions corrupted him over time to become the real villain, although he never wanted that. The part before Qin ''wakes him up'' is more metaphorical I think? To show that Qin is Wang Yis light that made him able to be the way he is today and how important both of them are to each other and their destinies ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~ .
Yes I really think the same as you cause actually I've read about a really similar scene in the novel Turning which also has a manhwa version(but very less chp) where the mc dreams about the past life's ML in a house setting and he tries to run away but sees only darkness when the current timelines ML appears as a light and he wakes up thanks to him only to then know the current ML held him in his arms to stop his nightmares and slept alongside him then to enter his dream and save him... I really loved this scene in the novel
