Yuna’s Situation: Damned if You Do, Damned if You Don’t.

I’ll be completely honest, yeah, I get why people are annoyed with Yuna. I was too, at one point. But let’s be real for a second, no matter what she does, she’s going to get hate.

When it comes to improvement, she has been getting better. In the early chapters, she was basically useless in battle, like remember that scene with the guy kidnapping people and stuffing them into luggage? She couldn’t even help then. But now? She may still be weak, but at least she tries to be useful. She’s making an effort to fight, to support, even when it’s obvious she’s outmatched.

So let’s say she doesn’t help, people would still hate her for being “dead weight.” But she helps? Still gets hated for being “weak.” That’s what I mean when I say "damned if you do, damned if you don’t."

And don’t forget that Yuna’s still D-Rank. She’s not experienced in combat. She’s not a veteran like the sniper lady or the blind woman, or any female characters y’all keep comparing her to. Those women (and men) have years of battle behind them. Of course they’re going to seem more capable. Of course Yuna’s gonna look “dumb” in comparison.

You’re out here comparing her to people who are basically top-tier powerhouses like the mc, the others, even the villains. Yuna’s barely climbed the ladder, and suddenly she’s supposed to be on their level?

So yeah, she’s gonna get called weak no matter what she does. But at least she’s out there "trying to help" Peter, even if it’s clearly risky and probably hopeless. Call it foolish, sure but also recognize that it’s kind.

So again: Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. At least she’s still trying tho.
