2ys to get over a shitty dude is a bit of a stretch but idk that might actually happen. Personally after 3 days I'd start functioning normally and after 2 weeks I'd completely get over it if I don't get over it on the 5th day.

Helll to the no, I’m sorry but if he’s going to be getting used, reduced, and recycled purposely, I’m out. Mc definitely deserves better, but I also hate how the author has made him obsessed to the point where he is no longer self sufficient. He should’ve at least implemented that pain into getting to a much better place to be able to at least find this “pass around” and show up as someone who will be able to actually do something to help him get free of his dads grip.
