Anyways I don’t see father/son dynamic in this story. I get more big brother feels. (Not any better). :P

Miscreants and mayhem's main couple made me a bit sick. Their father-son relationship was too much to be brushed off. In contrast in this one they barely spent 8 months together and the kid was already 18 so it's as far off as possible from a father-son relationship.
I could get behind the kid/father figure plot line in miscreants and mayhem but this is just… ugghh so cringey. And there’s literally zero spark. The dude still feels like his dad. A time jump scenario would really turn this whole situation around
