The big question, there, is "HOW?" I can feel it'll take ages just for the "ignorance is bliss" part of the plot to get done with... Might as well sit and enjoy the humor
So he's "The bastard" and she hates him. And hes an alien(?) and has always been interested with her since who knows when. And then she went into an accident(?), real or not, idk. Then he took that for granted and manipulated her memory, bring her to his own world, acting like a lovey-dovey husband.
