Nah I honestly think it’s not spotless. Like with the drug rumors, I truly believe the ML doesn’t care at all to dig deeper and fully investigate. I think he only does surface level background checks. He sees one piece of info, judges it as truth, and moves on. From how anyone can predict the story will be going, eventually the ML will find out the truth, so there has to be some evidence lying around somewhere that the ML didn’t bother to find
If I remember correctly he has done multiple inquiries into Yigon at different stages of their contract relationship. With his secretary researching his therapist check ups to his prosecutor friend researching about his past with his ex best friend. Heck he even done research on the “supposed” car accident moment Yigon is concerned about. I love Yigon but the odds are stacked against him plus with his history of not telling his entire truth it can lead the person to make inaccurate judgements
The research on the car stuff was what got me. He’s looked into it at least but the brother is gonna have to get sloppy. Be overheard or recorded. Which is annoying cause I want work put in to make the ML more likeable in the end
