I actually disagree with that. Surprisingly a LOT of characters care for her. She's so kind but this isn't just a manhwa where they fix everything and let her roam around freely. They've established the "master" and "servant" role all the way since the beginning of the story and have stuck with it. The story in this always sticks with itself without any "hey that's not whats supposed to happen"! Characters like Violet don't know about how the annex works, while characters like Vincent are vulnerable to attacks even if just one maid is alive, bad people tracking those maids down to get information or those maids would've spilled it eventually. However He loved and cared for Paula so much that even just a small and bare minimum action like not killing her is insanely important and caring in this instance. The head maid even cared by giving her money to run too, and Ethan cared to let a MAID into his carriage and save her. We have to remember how her status plays such a massive role into the story because it's why she can't love Vincent, or Lucas, or speak her truth to Violet about Vincent.
Yesss that’s why i like this manhwa so much, most writers forget about the setting the story takes place and try to make the fl seem so different form the others without the repercussions that come with their role in society. I just love this story so much(≧∀≦)
