I won't say all that but he definitely starting to grow on me a bit
He does use coercion though when he did have sex with the mc. The mc never wanted to do it with him in the first place. The second time they did it was definitely forced because the prosecutor refused to let him get his meds. He does manipulate him by using his insecurities to convince him to choose him over the other guy. Unfortunately, whether he realizes it or not, he’s using his lawyer’s skills on the poor mc who is pregnant and feeling vulnerable. The mc never wants to burden his family, especially step mom, who he now feels differently about so he turns to the person who he thinks can “help.” But I admit, I saw the raws and the mc doesn’t look happy with the prosecutor. Understand though, they do not have the making of a healthy relationship that would benefit bringing a child into it! There is an imbalance of power between the prosecutor and mc that can and does get easily exploited by the prosecutor.
blondie uses coercion too from what i remember. & it's not like there's no power imbalance in their relationship either
I knew this was going to happen where my thoughts towards the prosecutor will begin slightly shifting. I can't lie and ignore the fact that the prosecutor is trying to give him a better life not just for him but the baby as well. It seems as tho the baby has changed his feelings towards the MC and he is know seeing a different cuter side to the MC causing him to eventually care about them. Although the prosecutor beginning was shaky it seems there's more sides to him that could be lovable and kind. I was a prosecutor hater at first because I was like he is just a manipulative rapist and yall he isn't. I went to go back to reread to fuel my hatered. But honestly after rereading he didn't rape the MC they had made a deal in that car. MC exchanged sex & information to ensure the prosecutor would send him to jail. The prosecutor might be an asshole at times but he wasn't a rapist he even stated he wouldn't force himself on the MC the MC has to agree to the terms himself. Which has now put things in a different perspective as well. Which brings me to sadly say this I will be putting this on hold because I honestly dont like love triangles. Also I wanted to know more about the long hair omega and the captain but sadly we want be getting much from them or the omega roomate and his baby daddy. Idc for the officer and the prisoner twins storyline. They are actually my least interesting couple.
