yeah im tired of the (insert drama piece) coming back after a get together. i especially hate the ex coming back. whether they broke off amicably or it was a foul, idc idk, all i care is they should NEVER take priority over the current partner/love interest. i've read stories where the mc/ml will give priority to meeting up with their ex over meeting up with the love interest and im like are you actually insane? they're an ex for a reason mf, don't look back.
Ok so after trials and tribulations the couple is either finally about to get together or they just got official. HERE COMES THE CHILDHOOD BESTFRIEND OR THE EVIL DAD OR SOME SHIT! Like does that not get on ya’ll nerves??
Like it’s so damn annoy i’ve genuinely dropped stories because of it. Like if it’s a office job story, Here comes the newest employee who just so happens to like one of the MC’s and is from their childhood..
Or even the ex showing back up, LIKE PICK A NEW PLOT DEVICE!! And it’s ALWAYS LIKE THIS:
