Hey how long does it take for chase to know he has a son?

If I remember it correctly, it is close to the end of the novel. They will accept their feelings first before josh introduce pete to chase.

But there are side stories so we can still see their father- sons interaction a bit. Josh will introduce Pete to chase a chapter before the Epilogue if I remember correctly. Then Cecil will be in the epilogue already. There are side stories so we can have a glimpse of their family interaction.
