Phew, it's been quite a while since I've read abt a captivating FMC (Roxanna my beloved;-;). There's nuance to her character and the author does well on touching upon the morals and ethics of "the sin/tragedy has not been acted upon". Y'know that sort of debate if ppl would kill a "certain" baby who would grow up to be a "certain" dictator that would massacre millions.
Imo, blood was spilled and Erez has no choice but to kill or be killed. There was never going to be a happy ending between Ayana and him. No matter how pretty his face is.
The foreshadowing with Diabel is pretty obvious too. Words can deceive, but actions do not. He's pretty much end game.
And Rox. Oh god, in a perfect world he'd be perfect but I reckon he understands that they're platonic soulmates. Both of their priorities are not love, its nice to have, but there are so many other variables that interfere with them. Plus, when you make a deal with a devil, the price must always be paid.
Special thanks to the user Katie who was raving abt this. Saw it come up on the main page feed and decided to read <3. Now what do I do? I feel empty having read all the available chapters :,)
