Gonna shank the next person who calls Yigon stupid XD

It pisses me off when people miss the point of how the toxic relationship between Yigon and his brother are portrayed. Y'all so quick to judge like oh why doesn't he just get up and leave when he knows his life is at risk. When we see someone hit their spouse, why don't they just leave? We can tell it's obviously unhealthy and toxic but yet people continually choose to keep these people in their lives despite the pain it causes. Yigon loves his brother to the point where he's willing to do anything to go back to what it once was. We know what he had wasn't real love but it's the only thing he's known since he was a child, so it's true love to him. Yigon isn't stupid. Just as victims of domestic violence aren't stupid for choosing to stay. Period. He was raised and practically manipulated to believe that his brother was the sole person on his side when even his own biological parents weren't, and that whatever happened between them was entirely his fault. Yigon doesn't throw his dignity away and go to great lengths to tarnish his reputation simply because he wants to survive as he says. He does it because, despite everything, he still believes that the brother he once knew would return. Yigon tells taekyung he's trying to survive but the nightmares that haunt him the most are of his brother's scorn and disappointment, not of his own death. NOT trying to say he doesn't want to live at all, anyone would be spooked with all these near death accidents but there is a greater force at play that compels him to stay instead of choosing to simply walk away and leave. Yigon very well has the means to disappear to another country and actually become nothing to hakyung yet he choses to stay, and prove to his brother that he's not a threat to his position at the risk of his own life. The idea of returning to what they once had holds him here. Sorry for the long ass rant. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
