Gosh i completely agree! Muon may have had moments when he seemed questionable but his love and desire, his yearning for her was obviously there. I believe the people who didn’t understand the story don’t have the proper mindset or reading comprehension skills to understand it properly. I loved how emotional Seolha was, how caring. She was the perfect FL for this story. I feel like it being more of a short story gave it charm and showed proper writing skills. I’m so glad it was a happy ending. Seolha really deserved one and I think Muon is her perfect opposite.

Honestly, the way some people expect this story to be a deep, multi-layered novel is ridiculous. It is a short story, only 40 chapters, and it explained everything it needed to perfectly and in depth. For a short manhwa, it did an excellent job covering the curse, the royal bloodline, Seohla’s backstory, and the cycle of the curse they break together.
The whole point of the story is that it is tragic, messy, and bittersweet. If you don’t like the characters’ tropes or their relationship, that is fine, but don’t twist the entire story’s meaning just to nitpick things you did not read carefully.
Why are people saying Muon is just as bad as the Emperor when he is clearly morally gray? Morally gray characters are not good or bad, they are a mix. Some people are missing the story’s context and depth because they misunderstand it, don’t like it, or are reading it without really paying attention. Please, be serious.
Anyway, this story is really good, especially for how short it is. I’m glad they both were able to break the curse together, and I am happy Seolha finally found true love thanks to Muon giving her that chance.
