Yeh...he didn't just turn African. It was described as "grotesque, and disfigured," so I'm guessing his overall body looks more like its in a state of necrosis. Think of black as in a medical term. If you've seen pictures of gangrene, or limb necrosis, more like that
His body is kinda decaying so your skin become black not like skin colour they disfigure slowly and lose life like that
so being black is a monster now? I'm just genuinely curious cause he's fine for me, idk what's wrong with the appearance or i just missed something as his face did not portrayed full well
