This actually makes sense since her mother is known as great magician, I'm sure she knows a spell that can turn back time and since she has a lot of magic power, she is capable of doing it.
And that the cost of doing so made her lose her powers too!!! Like who else could have done it!!??

Ayla was 17 when she was killed in her first life. She returned to when she was 12 years old.
Fastforward, Ayla is now 15 years old and we also know that Ofelia, her mom, lost her magic 3 years ago, exactly the time when Ayla returned to her 12 years old self. So there is a big possibility that it is indeed her mother who turned back time.
Makes sense I thought her mom had chronic illness or smth when they said she was bedridden
