I have a feeling she might have a similar story to hoshina-san. I think maybe her disgusted look is a disguise for fear. We know that chidori has had very bad senpais in the past and although there was some prejudice in the past it is way worst now (as said by one of the boy’s older brother). Every character in fragrant flower has been complex, no character is truly bad. I think that maybe one of her students or the teacher herself had a extremely bad situation with those really bad Chidori senpais. They way she instinctively shield her students and tells them to go away, feels more like a sign of protection from a threat rather than disgust. that she maybe is actually afraid of men, specifically chidori, and is very motherly and protective of the kikyo students. At least that’s what I’m thinking. I get why people hate on her so much but I think people are to quick to judge when every character has been complex
