Glad it’s over

I hated Kile, he was so completely and utterly useless and annoying. Not once did Kile or any of his ‘allies’ take the initiative to teach Kile how to control his supposed awesome powers or how to even suppress the surges. Kile’s indecisiveness also often put everyone else in danger. I actually preferred Ray to Kile, and he wasn’t even in there much.
The story had so many plot holes and so many of them remained unresolved. What happened to Chief Anderson? Edith’s right hand man? Why couldn’t Atropos just have met Ray waaay back when he wanted to have his esp removed? She seemed to not be under much surveillance from the bureau if she was able to transport herself from that green house to Edith’s home and back. What was it she wanted to see Kile and Ray for when she asked Asher to bring them in? What about the Bureau? It feels as though there was so much dissent against the bureau but ultimately nothing happened.
Then there’s Ray and Kiles relationship. It felt as though Asher and Lou had a deeper connection to Ray than that between Ray and his literal brother.
I think this story could’ve been a lot better. It feels as though the whole ending was just a copout. I also think Asher and Ray would have been a better love story than Kile and Lou.
Asher, Alec and Lilly = MVP!! They literally covered for everyone when it came to the action scenes.

I kinda agree with you on that, while I don’t hate Kile, I blame the author more for not writing a better story. There are so many flaws, so many unanswered questions and some parts were poorly written. I wish this was written better by someone else. God I really do wish this was written by someone who do better. I’m pretty sure any guideverse authors can do it.
