I agree completely with you. I found myself rolling my eyes from reading their dialogue. They felt immature. Their issues are self induced and not from these horrible experiences you typically see portrayed which I found refreshing but I felt this sense of “why are you guys making this so difficult?” while reading this lol. The competitiveness that seemed to come up in Every. Single. Conversation. was trite and childish. I loved the first story but this spin off missed the mark for me. Plus I wasn't feeling the vampire teeth on the light haired guy or the weird constant smirks from the glasses guy or his tsundere unnecessarily mean attitude toward his brother who is shown to be nothing but nice and easy going to him. This story was just okay for me.

Yes this and the main comment!!! I was thinking the same. It could have something more - a deep connection, love that's so hugely present in still silent moments without them having cool comebacks all the time.
I didn't really connect with these 2.Maybe I'm not deep enough to appreciate it,but I found their constant banter overcomplicated.They were always trying to up one another,and even though I understand that's the center point of their relationship,it's the reason why they understand each other so well,I found it tiring after a while.Not my cup of tea
