Ok but most of this could’ve been avoided if he never neglected her, I feel like there was honestly no changing ner but he could’ve regulated her or smth, he didn’t even have to love her, just nurture her but the grief was too much from his wife being gone. Really sad on all parts and which is why you can never make me hate the dad or Melt but especially Melt.
