Yeah, I would've been so hurt and disappointed if I was in the author's place. Imagine being excited to see your work as a movie only for it to flop because of the director's decision. (๑•︿•๑)
The director who ruined MC's novel "Twentieth Summer" after turning it into a film. It reminded me of how ORV live action was ruined because of the director.
