My thoughts
1- i was seriously confused too but i just think of it like a solution they came up with since they said the lei lins that stayed close survived longer. Maybe they thought it would be better if they get rid of the hatred by amnesia and to make them fall in love (not justifying or anything) so that they can stay with qc and thus survive longer?
2- I guess the author thought a major character death was due or smth

I trusted the comments and they were right, it's a good story. Not the best imo but still so good. I like mc's moral and actions so much that it made all numbers go up. Only that amnesia arc looked a little unnecessary to me. Even eithout memory loss, mc and blue haired spy guy could made a plan to make it look like that and go to Zier mansion. But okay, not bad you can say. Except from that I have two concern.
1- why Qi Chen, who claims he didn't love Lei Lin as a romantic partner, kissed those Lei Lins?? They thought every Lei Lin has a deep grudge for QC so he made them lost their memories and fall for him, right? Why is this fall in love thing is a matter here? Why did he kiss the first Lei Lin we met and mc? I didn't like how story starts bcs of that but it envolved in a good way later.
2- why the hell our cool and collected sister and her adorable husband had to die?!!?? They never talked about them later. Also little child doesn' look like he affected by his parents dead. I personally really hate unnecessary dead in a story. There was only 2 scene that use it to make QC angry, that's all. Even if they had seriously injured but alive, QC can still get angry this much. This really pissed me off.
