You never know it's a cliche plotline where our mc as a child somehow talked to him before or saved him from something and this maybe him going places and orphanages to orphanages to find our mc. Or maybe...he was indebted to someone? But he did say ke killed our mc mother with his own hands. Might be true. Might be a lie. We don't know there's Soo many possibilities I'm Soo excited. But one things for sure...if our detective really died. Our mc would be more wary and confused with our ml. He would think our ml sent people to shut him up and killed him to make it look like an accident. So he wouldn't speak anymore bullshit to our mc and make him more worrisome. That one guard/assistant of our ml is Lowkey wary of our mc too. Like if one day he finds the whole truth and be it the real on or not...our mc might point a gun at ml and want to kill him...so if the assistant was the person to arrange someone to kill the detective it was obvious to eliminate him in silence so the detective wouldn't speak no more and make our mc think of useless stuffs that might hurt his boss. Trying to protect the boss in a sense...also...Like bro...I feel like our ml making finally moves on him...it's like a way to make our mc all melty so he doesn't have to think about pointless things that leads back to the past and find out the truth.
