He recently found out from his friend that he thought had betrayed him. The friend only knew she bought stuff in, but they thought only the one that was meant for him was harmful. The fl only knew that his friend would be wrongfully accused, she didn’t know the reasoning behind it.

If he knew she was getting stuff from a shaman and getting scammed, why didn’t he act? Is it because Mc has to be the one uncovering everything? Or did i misread? I think I might’ve misinterpreted, I was sure he found out after he almost drank poison.
