Thing is, they weren't bad before his regression. Miyamoto was seen as a hero who stayed behind to protect the red zone. And once the MC found out what his actual plan was he did try to kill him. But the guy's a snake with lots of tricks to escape in his sleeve.
And Hong was annoying and arrogant, yes. But he wanted to at least give the guy a chance to do the right thing. Which he failed to do, of course.

Sorry but what you’re saying doesn’t make sense.
MC was suspicious of Moto even before he regressed.
And those two dudes are still the same people? Whether MC regressed or not. Him regressing did not change them into bad guys. They were always bad guys they just got away with it the first time.
And why give Hong even a chance? He’s had multiple chances. Multiple opportunities to do the right thing and has never done anything not self serving, if not always extremely detrimental to everyone else.

So you have to remember that he came back with the objective of saving the most people, ones that would be useful, and those two are indeed valuable. Moto was not confirmed to be a villain, he was suspicious, so he gave the guy a chance to act right cause he need help to fight the locust, he can’t possibly do that alone and that’s what he went there to do. Hong honestly is kind of just luck cause he’s a small fry and mc got bigger fish to fry atm, at the end of the day they will all fight against the tower so leaving him alive is better, he’s a small can beat him whenever, think about it like raising a rogue wolf. I understand the mc’s motive but I just it doesn’t bite him in the ass later like with moto who too PRECIOUS people in his death, the big7 of the Red Sea.
Duuuuude MC should have just murked Myshito as soon as he could! And then that other piss ant Hong.
How many have died just from those two POS actions?! Isn’t the whole point to save as many people as possible?! But that doesn’t mean THE BAD GUYS HANSOO
