I think the ML’s father died, and he inherited some of his father’s assets — the mansion, and as he had stated, the boy called Enoch. Enoch may be malnourished because he came from the orphanage.
based on what I’ve read in this story, I’m guessing that his father didn’t spent too much time with the ML — which may be the cause or may result into some kind of childhood trauma — which may also be the reason as to why he (kind of) resents Enough and wants to “play” with him.
