well dan got fired instead of the director probably bc institutions protect abusers, especially ones with authority in order to cover up "scandals" (literal crimes ) to protect their "image". south korea also has strict workplace hierarchies, social stigma, and a culture of saving face that leads to victims being blamed or silenced instead of powerful perpetrators. i remember seeing a bunch of cases come to light during korea’s #metoo movement where the victims actually faced backlash for exposing workplace harassment. it's rly sad

We got to know Dans and JJKs past, but I wonder if author is gonna get into Dan’s past sexual assault from the director of the hospital…I’ve been wondering about that for years like wtf happened?! And i wonder when JJK finds out, how will he react?
