Can we just cut to the chasing arc bcs im so tired of the "hes so mean, abusive and horrible but oh look at his sad childhood it explains all his behaviour, pity him hes actually good" bullshit, so tired of this kind of character trope bcs in real life (and I know plenty ppl like this) the abused does everything as to not become the abuser and grow up to be normal functioning ppl
