.He essentially does all the "dirty work" and even just regular work to help her political career. At the moment he's in that area because they want to develop it (which would also help that ladies career) but the kid (who likes getting hit) is refusing because they use the gym for some gambling thing
The last chapter was him saying he couldn't do it (get the kid to sell the gym) and the lady isn't going to take no for an answer.
