Yui probably said that because he hasn’t witnessed how relationships are established so assumes that someone has to ask “do you want to be my boyfriend?” or “do you want to be in a relationship?” for it to be official
That’s valid but he doubled down on it. Which I get cause he isn’t sure in his feelings but he’s just making himself suffer in the long run.
It’s hard to be mad at him cause of what he went through but.. communication guys like I feel he could’ve been told ml how he felt since he was content saying they weren’t in a relationship outloud. I’m not disagreeing with his stance btw, it’s totally valid and I know the author just wants to create conflict in the story cause what’s a manhwa without miscommunication…
